the appointment system could be improved as received text message to go to main x-ray but i needed to go to ADSU .

I must stress this is completely separate to the care received under Dr Patodi.
I stayed at RBH post op Jan 2020 after major surgery the ward was busy the staff we over ran and busy all the time, I did not received proper pain relief and when I did it was always late meaning in was in a lot of pain. I believe staff saw a young person in their 20's and felt I would be able to sort myself out, however I was very poorly post op and was left in a vomit covered gown until my relatives arrived, who then cleaned and changed me. There was a particularly lovely trainee nurse who when on shift did her best to assist me when pain relief was requested.

The nurses and hospital staff were very understanding and thorough in my treatment.

I was at the West Berkshire. Fantastic staff who really made me feel comfortable and talked me through the procedure. After care was great and the staff very professional.

After very few problems in my life, they seem to be coming all at once. But as they arrive I have received excellent care and fingers crossed they have been dealt with in an exemplary manner.

I am currently sat here at Royal Berkshire hospital in the A&E area and have been here 5 hours. The receptionist was not helpful at all and did not even give me an estimation of how long I will be. I have hardly been given any information of what will happen.. it’s so hot in here I’m in a t shirt and sweating. It has made me never want to come here again!

With care, sympathy for me and how to manage my symptoms of a long term painful illness. I would recommend and do recommend this hospital to anyone who need care and support.
